Harry has been a full time potter for over 20 years working out of his own Turning Point Clay Studio. In addition to teaching classes in his studio, Harry taught for five years at the Tennessee Governor's School for the Arts and has conducted workshops at various colleges, universities, the John C. Campbell Folk School and at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts.

1985-88 Classes at the Alexandria Art League School, Alexandria VA
1997 Two week class at Penland School of Crafts
1988 Two year internship with a Studio Potter in TN
1989 Began teaching evening classes
1990 Opened Turning Point Clay Studio
1993-98 Taught at Tennessee Governor’s School for the Arts
Served for many years on committees, the Board and four years as President of Tennessee Association of Crafts Artists.
Began the Murfreesboro Craft Artists Studio Tour and directed it for thirteen years.
Founding member of the Stones River Craft Association.
Teaches regularly at the John C. Campbell Folk School, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts and various workshops around the country.
