I became interested in art at an early age and enjoyed art
classes through my college years. Inspired by an artist neighbor next door, I
learned and practiced basic drawing techniques in grade school. This early
emphasis on proportion and perspective gave me a foundation upon which to build
my painting skills today.
My painting style can be identified by my use of vivid colors, bold strokes,
and memorable subjects. My latest works, "Window Dressing", feature
beautiful dresses and gowns lit by evening spotlights of dress shop windows.
Architectural accents including window casings and ceiling moldings add
interest and a wonderful background.
A rainbow of dresses are featured as the focal point in this collection. Many
times I have strolled avenues and sidewalks admiring dresses in storefront
windows. Paintings of these scenes allow me to enjoy the view over and over
