Nada’s B.A. in Art Education is from Adelphi University. She also attended New York University and has taken art workshops with Skip Lawrence, Al Stine, Charles Sharp, Jan Kunz, and Tony Couch. Her achievements include being juried into the Eastern Watercolor society of North Carolina and exhibited at the Museum of Art in Greenville, North Carolina. She was also juried into the Prestigious Watercolor Society of North Carolina the past three years earning signature membership., which entitles her to use initials WSNC after her signature. Among other awards, she has also received Best of Show, Viewer’s Choice, First through Third Place awards, and Honorable Mention in the Twin Rivers Artists’ Association and Carven Arts Council and Gallery.
Her paintings are also on exhibit in galleries, banks, travel agencies, doctor’s offices, restaurants, and many private collections. Nada believes that “ast is discovery…color is happiness”, and watercolor is a “fresh and spontaneous medium.” She feels that through observation and exploration, art becomes a growing, learning, and changing experience. “Inspiration, enthusiasm, and creative imagination are the delight of artistic freedom.” “Skills in using color relationships are the delight of artistic freedom.” Skills in using color relationships, shape, contracts, harmony, and composition result in the reflection of one’s own rewarding experience.” Art is energy. Art is a constant surprise.
